Recommended use: While our Root Regulator products can be used in many configurations for a multitude of applications from general lawn/garden maintenance to obscure exotic particulars, we recommend a very simple 3-step 'common application' guide with one additional optional amendment step for the most common variables for almost everything in your garden.

Root Regulator's Auto-Perfect kit with optional long-season ammendment is the simplest, most effective and most versitile plant nutrient on the market!

Long-Season: Our products are designed for annual flower, herb, fruit and vegetable plants. Some plants live longer than others, and all vary by region/environment. Our 3-step Auto-Perfect Kit is more than sufficient for most circumstances, however, in less common instances of longer grow seasons, plant life cycles and/or controlled environments additional nutrition may be useful.

We recommend our stand-alone 12oz packets of ExtenD Dry Amendment Top-Dress' for long-season grows.

Base Soil Recommendations: We are huge proponents for focus on the root zone. Root Regulator products are compatible with almost every potting mix on the market, however, we recommend starting with a lightly nutritious or non-nutritious base soil to ensure proper uptake as well as balanced, complete, non-toxic, bio-available nutrition for your plants and soil.

pH What, When, Why & How?... Let's talk about soil pH... The topic arises in many forms, soil acidity/alkalinity, acid loving, alkline leaning, mineral and microbial buffering, etc...

We're here to make it easy. pH is a crucial element of all life. For plants, soil/water pH determines the plants ability to take in and process nutrients via root uptake. When the pH is buffering accurately, the plant is able to uptake and process to the fullest extent, allowing all other processes to function at full capacity, resulting in more vigourous growth, bigger yields, more vibrant colors and more robust flavors.

The easy part??? Here it is. You will need 2 very simple tools, a pH measuring device for liquids (pH Pen/Probe or drop test) and a bottle of pH Down (Acidic liquid buffering agent).

Your job is simple. Adjust the pH of everything you feed/water your plants to pH 6.0 every time! This is easily accomplished by adding a few drops of pH down and testing the pH prior to watering.
